The Sunny Side Up This project centers around the fictional artist Sunny—an elusive creator who works exclusively with the sun. His images aren’t just bright—they’re blinding. UV protection isn’t optional, it’s essential. Occasionally accepting commissions (such as solar visuals for the weather channel SunTV), Sunny remains focused on his singular mission: making art powered entirely by sunlight. His practice blurs the line between real and artificial, between performance and presence. “It’s about us not seeing whether something is real or fake—because we don’t take the time to really look. It’s about how our happiness depends on the weather. Holding on to what I wanted to keep and letting go the rest. What I want wanted to keep I also wanted to grow into a better version than the core of these moments, captured. Now we’re here decades later, I look at it and it comforts me to know I have these moments, captured - This frozen, absolute reality. Evidences of loss. By really looking at something, Analysing it - through the hurt you will find reality. This is how we all deal with diggers. And everything‘s fine.

Like Sasha, Danny was the kind of person who trusted textbooks. A good student. Sasha couldn’t sleep, or else she slept all day. She was rarely hungry, unless, in a burst of energy, she baked an elaborate cake. The good news was that, on most days, she still went to work. The bad news was that fear—her boss, her deadlines, the phone that she kept under the pillow, buzzing with middle-of-the-night emergencies—was the one thing that got her out of bed.

Bready was born in a Berlin apartment—home to spatial designer and curator Matylda Krzyskowski. But before becoming Bready, it was simply a bread-shaped cushion, available on Amazon for €19.99. Everything changed during a longer stay by artist and filmmaker Mirka Laura Severa. One night, the humble bread pillow transformed—quite literally—into Bready. With the addition of a pair of sunglasses, the cushion took on a new persona. No longer just a pillow—a character was born: Bready. Mirka took Bready along on travels, integrating Bready into spontaneous video art shot on an iPhone. Always close to people, Bready became a silent observer, a performer, a companion. These candid moments created a living archive of fleeting, human connections. From Las Vegas to Benidorm, Paris to countless unnamed corners of the world, Bready continues to travel. Bready hasn’t returned to Berlin—Matylda hasn’t seen Bready since. But this absence only adds to the myth. Over time, Bready evolved. No longer an object, but not quite a person. Not a he, not a she, not a they—just Bready. A traveler. A symbol. A sociological experiment. A conversation starter. Bready invites interaction, curiosity, and connection—becoming whatever people project onto this soft, bread-like form. And one day, perhaps, there will be a grand Bready exhibition—curated by Matylda Krzyskowski. Until then, Bready keeps moving.

Bottle Molds Some shapes are so deeply embedded in our visual culture that we barely notice them—like the iconic form of a classic PET water bottle. But where do these ubiquitous silhouettes come from? Behind every bottle is a mold—a precise, industrial object capable of producing up to 300,000 bottles in its lifetime. These molds, often hidden from view, are the silent authors of our disposable daily lives. Seen out of context, they reveal a strange and unexpected beauty. What was once functional becomes sculptural. Familiar forms take on a magical quality, as if they’ve slipped into another dimension—one where utility meets abstraction. These molds are the ghostwriters of mass production. By isolating them, we begin to see the poetry in the process, and the uncanny elegance of the everyday.

High fashion has always demanded sacrifices - tight shoes, impossible poses, freezing conditions. But for once, we decided to show a little mercy. For this project, we replaced human models with a crew of fearless snow models. Perched atop an Austrian glacier, our frosty stand-ins showcased the latest winter wear from Louis Vuitton, Mugler, and other icons of cold-weather couture. No call sheets. No catering. No complaints. Just the quiet dignity of packed powder and the occasional avalanche. A tongue-in-cheek nod to the extremes of fashion imagery and the absurd lengths the industry goes to for “the shot.”

The Philosophers by Adam Ehrlich Sachs. excerpt: A philosopher had spent his lifetime pondering the nature of knowledge and was ready at last to write down his conclusions. He took out a sheet of white paper and a pen. But he noticed, upon lifting the pen, a slight tremor in his hand. Hours later he was diagnosed with a neuromuscular disorder that promptly began ravaging his body, though apparently, according to the doctor, not his mind. He lost the use of his muscles one by one, first in his fingers, then in his toes, then in his arms, then in his legs. Soon he could only whisper weakly and flutter his right eyelid. Just before losing the power of speech entirely, he designed with his son’s help a system by which he could communicate, through twitches and blinks, the letters of the alphabet. Then the philosopher fell silent. He and his son embarked upon the writing of his book on knowledge. The father blinked or twitched his right eyelid; the son wrote down the corresponding letter. Progress was extraordinarily slow. After twenty years, they had written a hundred pages. Then, one morning, when the son picked up the pen, he noticed a slight tremor in his hand. He was diagnosed with the same neuromuscular disorder as his father—it was, naturally, hereditary—and began losing the use of his muscles, too. Soon he could only whisper weakly and manipulate his tongue. He and his own son designed a system by which he could communicate, by tapping his teeth with his tongue, the letters of the alphabet, and then he, too, fell silent. The writing continued, though the pace, already indescribably slow, slowed even further. The grandfather blinked or twitched his right eyelid, his son tapped a tooth with his tongue, and the grandson wrote down the corresponding letter. After another twenty years, they had written another ten pages on the nature of knowledge.

Custom Terrariums for Displaced Species This series of custom-built terrariums houses Nina Ricci faux fur handbags—transformed into uncanny stand-ins for the animals they reference. Each terrarium is a surreal reconstruction of the creature’s original habitat, mimicking savannahs, tundras, or jungles with artificial plants, sterile substrates, and curated lighting. Though no real animals were harmed, the tension between artificial fur and implied violence remains. By presenting handbags as exotic specimens, Rewilded Luxury invites viewers to reflect on the absurdity of luxury fashion’s reliance on nature—simultaneously exploiting and imitating it. The use of faux fur complicates this narrative, suggesting a simulacrum of concern: ethical but still aesthetic, performative yet profitable.

This personal work documents the ambivalent life of King Bansah. The African king lives and works in Ludwigshafen, Germany, as a car mechanic and simultaneously governs 2.3 million people in Ghana and Togo as the authentic leader of the Ewe tribe. To raise money for his aid projects in Ghana he performs as a singer, attends TV-shows and public events.
